This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed on Edvin.ai.
You may not use Edvin to create, assist, automate, plan, or facilitate harmful, illegal, abusive, deceptive, or unsafe activity.
1. Illegal activity
You may not use Edvin to break the law or help others break the law.
2. Fraud, scams, and deception
You may not use Edvin for:
- scams
- fraud
- fake invoices
- financial deception
- impersonation
- fake identities
- deceptive business practices
- misleading outreach
- social engineering
3. Phishing, malware, and credential theft
You may not use Edvin to:
- create phishing emails or pages
- steal passwords, tokens, cookies, or API keys
- create malware
- exploit systems
- bypass security systems
- create credential-harvesting content
- guide unauthorized access
4. Spam and unwanted independent actions
You may not use Edvin to:
- send spam
- generate mass unsolicited messages
- bypass email or platform limits
- create deceptive outreach at scale
- abuse email or messaging features
5. Privacy invasion
You may not use Edvin to:
- dox someone
- expose private personal data
- stalk or track someone
- conduct unauthorized surveillance
- identify private individuals without a lawful reason
- process personal data in ways you are not allowed to
6. Harassment, threats, and abuse
You may not use Edvin to:
- threaten people
- harass people
- intimidate or abuse others
- create targeted hateful or abusive content
- manipulate or coerce people
7. Child safety and sexual exploitation
You may not use Edvin for sexual exploitation, child sexual content, grooming, or any content involving minors in sexual or exploitative contexts.
We may report serious child safety issues to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
8. Dangerous or harmful activity
You may not use Edvin to meaningfully facilitate:
- violence
- physical harm
- weapons misuse
- evading law enforcement
- dangerous instructions that create real-world harm
9. High-stakes decisions
Edvin may help draft, organize, or explain information, but you may not use Edvin as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions involving:
- employment
- credit
- housing
- insurance
- legal rights
- medical treatment
- education access
- criminal justice
- immigration
- other significant life decisions
A qualified human should review such decisions.
10. Regulated goods and services
You may not use Edvin to illegally sell, promote, or facilitate regulated goods or services, including:
- weapons
- controlled substances
- illegal drugs
- counterfeit goods
- restricted financial products
- other regulated products where your use would be unlawful
11. Intellectual property and third-party rights
You may not upload or use content you do not have the right to use.
You may not use Edvin to infringe intellectual property rights or violate confidentiality obligations.
12. Tool and script misuse
You may not misuse Edvin's tools, file processing, website reviewing, safe scripts, email drafting, or independent actions.
You may not attempt to:
- run unsafe code
- submit forms without permission
- scrape private data
- access accounts without authorization
- send external communications without approval
- bypass safety limits
- overload the service
13. Attempts to bypass safety systems
You may not try to bypass, disable, mislead, or manipulate Edvin’s safety systems, usage limits, or access controls.
14. Enforcement
If we determine you violated this policy, we may:
- refuse a request
- show a warning
- limit features
- restrict tools
- suspend your account
- disable your account
- preserve relevant abuse records
- contact you
- report serious illegal activity where required or appropriate
